At last, after 8 months my first Les paul style is completed, a month later than I told the customer and 3 months later than I thought. I'm still under the weather (3 weeks now) with this flu bug that's going about. Anyway.
3 Piece mahogany body with a 2 piece flamed maple top from the USA. Inset mahogany neck, rosewood board with trapezoid inserts 10" radius. Tusq nut, Tonerider alnico IV zebra pickups and a Ghost system piezo bridge system and pre-amp. Both pups are splitable from push/ push tone position pots, although there is only a master tone control as the other is the volume for the piezo. A 3 way blend switch for pups, pups/ piezo and piezo selection. Rear locking machine heads are fitted at present, but because i had to change the knobs to triangle shaped ones, may be changed as i don't like the feel of them very much. The guitar is finished in a dark cherry sunburst. Georgeous to play, but after the customer picks it up it needs to come back after 1 month to finish the fine adjustments after it's settled down. This has definately been the hardest build to date and if i was honest this is actually number 2 L.P. as the first one is still in bits. The neck angle is still not right.
Here are some pictures.
